Hi, I’m Scott, an educator and scientist
I am an Assistant Professor in Computer Science at California State University Channel Islands. This is my portfolio. My specialization is in Scientific Computing, which is the application of computing to solve scientific challenges of the 21st century. I collaborate internationally on scientific research projects involving high power lasers. I am an advocate of making changes to practices in STEM in order to increase diversity -- especially gender diversity, cultural diversity, and socioeconomic diversity.
